Welcome to Hoard Haven. By creating an account or using hoardhaven.com, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. THE SERVICE

Hoard Haven is a retro game collection tracker. It lets you log games you own or want, track progress, connect with third-party platforms (Discord, RetroAchievements, Steam), monitor prices, and participate in a community forum.

The service is provided free of charge. We may introduce optional paid features in the future, but will always maintain a free tier.

2. YOUR ACCOUNT

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

You are responsible for keeping your password secure. Don't share your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, change your password immediately.

You may only create one account per person. Duplicate accounts may be removed.

Your username is public. Choose something you're comfortable displaying to other users.

3. ACCEPTABLE USE

You agree not to use Hoard Haven to:

• Post content that is abusive, harassing, threatening, or hateful toward others
• Spam the forum or feedback system with irrelevant, repetitive, or promotional content
• Share piracy links, illegal ROM distribution sites, or circumvention tools
• Attempt to access other users' accounts, data, or the admin panel without authorization
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the API beyond normal app usage
• Use the service in any way that violates applicable law

We're building a community for retro game enthusiasts. Keep it fun and respectful.

4. YOUR CONTENT

Content you create — forum posts, game notes, collection data — remains yours. By posting it, you grant us a non-exclusive license to store and display it as part of the service.

Public profiles and forum posts are visible to other users and potentially to search engines. Keep this in mind when posting personal information.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms or that we deem harmful to the community, without prior notice.

5. THIRD-PARTY INTEGRATIONS

Connecting your Discord, RetroAchievements, or Steam accounts is optional. By connecting them, you authorize us to access and display data from those services on your behalf, as permitted by their respective APIs.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for Discord, Valve (Steam), RetroAchievements, IGDB, eBay, or any other third-party service we integrate with. Their services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Game titles, cover art, and related content displayed in Hoard Haven are the property of their respective rights holders. We display this content under the IGDB API terms for fan and enthusiast purposes.

The Hoard Haven name, logo, and original design are our intellectual property. You may not use them without permission.

7. AVAILABILITY & WARRANTIES

Hoard Haven is provided "as is" without any warranty of any kind. We make no guarantee that the service will be available at all times, error-free, or that your data will never be lost.

We do our best to keep things running smoothly, but we are not liable for any data loss, downtime, or damages arising from your use of the service.

Price data shown in the app is sourced from third-party APIs and is provided for reference only. Do not make purchasing decisions based solely on prices shown here.

8. ACCOUNT TERMINATION

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@hoardhaven.com. All your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abuse, or harm the community — without refund of any paid features, if applicable.

9. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these terms as the service grows. We'll update the "Last updated" date above and post a notice in the app for significant changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the applicable US jurisdiction.
